The mission of the Virtual Community College is to promote
Student Success
by creating tools that enhance the management of
retention, persistence,
transference and graduation based on students' declared intent.
Virtu@l CC fulfills its mission by creating
simulation games
that develop skills that propel student success. While Enrollment management will be the main simulation
driver, the game will model all key processes that impact student success
-e.g. Resource Allocation, IT, Performance Management, Strategic Planning, Leadership, etc.
Building upon
Virtual_U
, Virtu@l CC will design state-of-the-art shareware
games as
powerful training tools to address key quality-building initiatives that effectively
promote meaningful learning and
intent-based goal attainment
. The game will featured a variety of simulation engines. While one
focuses on
leadership and decision-making; another one simulates
minority
students behaviors and outcomes in their college experience.
