Learning-Centric.Net will promote the
enhancement of the learning
process through teaching and research. The ETRD
Foundation will assist academic professionals in the development of grant
proposals to seek funding for projects directly related to learning-centered
initiatives such course redesign, online course development, virtual simulation
labs, and individualized student learning monitoring systems, while targeting
at the achievement of higher levels of effectiveness as well as increasing
quality of instruction, using as ultimate performance indicatotors student
academic success, and using retention, and graduation rates as ultimate KPIs of
institutional success.
Identity
Learning-Centric.Net is an inititiative which invites faculty, instructional
technologists, IT professionals and college administrators, to share their
interest in promoting
learning-centered programs and activities as a way of creating quality-driven learning experiences for
students, with particular emphasis on the individualization and personalization
of pedagogical practices through learning-centered initiatiaves and projects.
Learning-Centric.Net is incorporated
as a foundation, “Educational Technology Research & Development
Foundation (ETRD)”.currently
in the process of seeking not-for-profit status.
